Privacy policy and protection of personal data

With this document, we want to inform you of the reasons that justify the collection of personal data through this website, what we do with them, what your rights are and how to exercise them.

Terms of use and data protection policy:

The COLEAM Association (COLmenar In Defense of Animals and the Environment) complies with current legislation on the protection of personal data and with the confidentiality commitments of its activity. COLEAM maintains the level of security required in the treatment of the personal data that it handles, according to the nature of the personal data processed and the circumstances of the treatment, in order to avoid, as far as possible, its alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access.

COLEAM collects and processes the information that its users freely provide in order to respond to their requests for information, interests or to establish and manage them based on the relationship established. Said information will be kept in custody by COLEAM as long as the link is maintained. In any case, its custody will be maintained as long as its deletion is not requested at the end of that and only for the legally established deadlines or those that a judge or court may require, taking into account the statute of limitations for legal actions. The data processed will be kept as long as the aforementioned periods do not expire, if there is a maintenance obligation or, if this period does not exist, until the interested party requests its deletion.

When the completion of a form in which personal data is collected is requested, the user will be informed of the recipient of the information, of the purpose for which the data is collected, of the identity and address of the person responsible for the file and of the faculty of the user to exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition and portability regarding the processing of their data. The personal data collected will only be processed for the stated purpose in each case and always with the consent of the user. COLEAM will not transfer your data to third parties for commercial or lucrative purposes, without prejudice to those that must be communicated to the State Tax Administration Agency and to banks and financial entities for the collection of the service provided, product purchased or payment of the cost derived from the contracts signed, as well as those in charge of the treatment necessary for the execution of the agreements. Likewise, they will be subject to the assignment to which the Association is bound by the legislation in force at all times or in those cases in which it is necessary and proportionate for the defense of the interests and ultimate purposes of the association.

 

Legitimation for the processing of personal data:

The legitimacy for the processing of your personal data by COLEAM for the management of the relationship established between the different related groups or persons linked to the association is based on the legitimate interest of the Association for such treatment in accordance with current legislation.

On the other hand, the sending of communications and information on COLEAM's activity is based on the express consent that is requested and can be modified or rectified at any time when it cannot be based on legitimate interest. However, the withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality of the data processing in accordance with the applicable regulations and legitimate interest.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data carried out by COLEAM are the following:

  • Execution of the relationship contracts of partners, adopters, volunteers based on legitimate interest;

  • Obtaining consent to send news about activities, campaigns, events;

  • Obtaining consent for the use of one's own images and those of minors voluntarily provided (without commercial purposes and only for dissemination in the Association's own channels).

So that the information in our files is always up-to-date and does not contain errors, we ask our users to notify us, as soon as possible, of the modifications and rectifications of their personal data.

Users' rights regarding the processing of their personal data:

We inform that the rights that you can exercise are:

  • Right of access to your personal data.

  • Right to request its rectification or deletion.

  • Right to request the limitation of the treatment.

  • Right to object to their treatment.

Likewise, it is reported that a claim may be filed with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (C / Jorge Juan, 6 28021 Madrid) in case of not obtaining a satisfactory answer in the exercise of your rights.
